The Commission met in regular session at 10 A.M. and was called to order by Mayor Davis.
Roll Call showed the following officers present: Mayor Davis, Com~issioners Henson and
Masters, Attorney Bonniff and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Thos. Geisness, Police Judge, reported 72 cases tried and j341.75 collected in fines
for the m~nth of ~pril, 1938. Report ordered filed.
Under the head of New Business:

The Mayor was instructed to si~n a lease with the U.S. Naval Department for the use of
two rooms in the ~'ire Department Building for the year ending June 30, 1939.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn for
same:
