jThe Commission met in regular session at 10:00 A .M., and was called to order by Mayor Epperson. Roll
of offioers showed the following present: Mayor Epperson, ,Commissioners Johnson and Steele~ Attorney
Wilson, and Clerk Law.

iDr. Benham and Don Morrison, Sanitarians spoke before the Commission regarding insfection of milk producers
and processing plants and informed that material for producing higher grade milk and products was now
,Iavailable, and that producers and plants are co-operating. Tbey also informed that milk ordinance would be
:enforced more strictly. The Commission assured full SIlpport for the enforcement of said ordinance.
iLight Supt. Lean made a brief report on National Rural Electric Co-operative Association and N.W. Public
Pewer Association Convention which he attended a t Spokane. Mr. Lean informed that appropriation had been
,made to construct power line to deliver Bonneville power but no sub-station to distribute to this city,
Ilwhich will not relieve power shortage. However, the action is not final a nd some compromise may be made.
I:Under the head of reading and passage of Ordinances the following were passed third and final reading and
finally adopted:
I ORDINANCE NO. 1167
,AN ORDINANCE to regulate and restrict the location and use of buildings and the use of land within the Ci'o/
'j'Of Port Angeles; to limit the height of buildings; to prescribe building lines and the size of yards; and
for thase purposes to divide the City into districts; providing penalties and repealing any ordinances in
conflict herewith.
lIt was moved by Mayor Epperson that the foregoing Ordinance be approved and adopted. Seconded l:r.f Commissioner
;Steele. All members voted Aye. Motion carried. II

IAN ORDINANCE vacating the alley in Block Four (4) of Cain's Subdivision to the Townsite of Port Angeles
:running northerly from Fourth Street to the alley running east and west in said block.

Under the head of introduction of resolutions for the sale of real proferty l:r.f the City, the following two
lire solutions were introduced:

It was moved by Commissioner Steele that the foregoing resolutions be approved and the property sold.
Seconded by Commissioner Johnson. All voted Aye. Tbe motion carried.
hhe Clerk was instructed to publish call for bids for City printing for the year beginning July 1, 1947.
