The Commission met in rebUlar session at 10 A.M., and was called to order by !.layor Robinson. Roll cdl
showed the following officers present: Mayor Robinson, Commissioners Beam and Masters, Attorney Johnston,
and Clerk Ha,vkbs.
The Minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of application for buildi:1g permits, the foHovring were granted:

WHERE,\S, The Cilv' of Port Angeles is the oymer of the following described real property, having acquired the
same by Treasurer's deed dated April, 18, 1945, under and by virtue of the Authority of Section 9395 of
Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, page 365, to-wit:
Lot Sixteen (16) Block One Hundred Thirteen (115), TOWllsite of Port Angeles,

WHEREAS, Frank B. Wells and Helen Wells, husband and wife, has offered to purchase the above descrioed
propsrty from the City of Port Angeles, for the sum of $ll9.00, and,
WHEREAS, The City Commission of Port Angeles has viewed the said property and is of the opllllon that the
offer is fair value and is in excess of the amount paid by the City of Port Ar.geles for said property, plus:
all L.I.D. assessments, including interest and other charges against the same.
NOW, TllliREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED THAT the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
said property at private sale to the said Frank B. Wells and Helen Wells, for the sum hereinabove set
forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare
a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port
Angeles be and he is hereby instructed tm execute said quit claim deed, and that the A~yor of the City of
Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed.

the same by Treasurer's deed dated June 8, 1940, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9393 of
I Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit:
West Fifty (50) Feet of Tax No. 1289, Commencing at a point one hundred (100) Feet
West of the South West corner of First and Ennis Streets; thence in a Westerly
direction along the South line of First Street a distance of Fifty (50) Feet; thence
at right angle in a Southerly direction a distance of One Hundred Forty (140) Feet

WHEREAS, the .Ci ty Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opllllon that the offer is fair
value and t~t at this time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the
sale made.
NOW, THEREFORE, aE IT RESOL'fED that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
said property at private sale to the said Eunice It. Hankins for t!le sum hereinabove set forth, subject to
any other valid liens against toe same: tr~t the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed
conveying said property to the purchaser, 2nd that the City Clerk of the City of Porl Angeles be and he is

which said property has been acquired by the City on foreclosure of delinquent local improvement assessments
under Chapter 205 of the Sessions Laws of 1927, and,
, WHEREAS, W. D. Kelly has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port
Angeles for the sum of $450.00, payable as follows: t)75.00 as a dovm payment and $15.00 on or before the
1st day of June, 1945, and $15.00 on or before the 1st day of each and every month thereafter until paid in
full, together with inj;erest at the rate of 7% per annum, computed on monthly balances due and paid with
the monthly installments, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
property st private sale to the said VI. D. Kelly for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any valid
liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a deed conveying said property to
the' purchaser, and that the City Treasurer be, and she is hereby authorized to execute the said deed in
I accordance with the provisions of this resolution and Chapter 275, Session Laws of 1927, when the purchase

hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that, the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and

It was moved u.v Commissioner Uasters the foregoing resolutions be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Commissioner Beam.. Roll call showed all members voting Aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Under the head of Now Business: Fred E. Stewart appeared before the Commission and asked permission to
I- construct concrete roadvrays across the sidevrslks in front of his propsrty at the South-e_ast corner of
First and Chambers Streets. It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the atQve request be granted.
. Seconded by Commissioner Beam. on roll call all members voted Aye. The Ma:ror declared the motion carried.
The Commission examined and allowed the follong claims, and ordered warrants drawn in payment of the same:
