Proceedings of the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington

The Commission met in regular session at 10 a.m. and was called to order by Mayor
Davis. Roll call showed the following officers present. Mayor Davis,Commissioners Beam
and Filion,Attorney Plummer and Cler~ Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under head of applications for licenses the following were granted.
Winsor Hotel 10 rooms for 6 months
$ 5.00
John Geisness,police Judge Pro-tem reported 7 cases tried for the Month af April,1933
and ~2.50 collected in fines. The report was ordered filed.
Under the head of reading and passage of Ordinances the following Ordinance was read
by Title and placed on its Third reading,-
AN ORDINANCE Amending Section 2 of Ordinance 911 of the City of Port Angeles which
is an ordinance re~llating'erection,location,repair,alteration and use of buildings in
icertain portions of the city.
, It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the Ordinance be placed on its final passage
land adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Filion. On roll call all members voted aye. The
'Mayor declared the motion carried.
Under the head of new business,the following resolution was introduced,-
RESOLUTION
Yfuereas,One John Bee,as vendee under contract of November 2,l932,for the purchase of
property ac~uired by the city under foreclosure of local improvement assessments,has
made full payment of all the amounts due upon his contract of purchase for said property
and is entitled to receive a deed to the same,
. THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED That the City Treasurer of the City of Port Angeles and the
~Said City Treasurer is authorized to execute a conveyance to said purchaser for all of
'the interest of the City of Port Angeles to said pruperty,subjeet to all other taxes and
lassessments thereon and in accordance with the provissions of Chapter 275,Laws of 1927.
The description of said property is as follows:
Lot Nineteen (19),Block Four hundred,seventeen (417) ,Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam
CountY,washington.
It was moved by Commissioner Filion that the foregoing resolution be adopted. Seconded
by Mayor Davis. On roll call all members'voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
The Commissmon examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn for
same.
