Roll call showed the following officers present: Mayor Davis, Commissioners Hene:> n and Masters. and (,;lerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of Applications for lioenses the following was ~ranted: Angeles Beauty dhop, 1 Beauty Parlor Chair 1.00 I Under the head of New Business,- The City Clerk was instructed to issue a call for bids to furnish series and multiple Mazda Lamps on the basis of $500.00 net value for the various City Departments..Bids to be reoeived up to 10 A.tl. May 25, 1938. Rivetts tendered his resignation as a member of the Park Board.. It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the resignation of Claude L. Rivetts as a member of the Park Board be accepted. Seconded by Commis.sioner Henson. On roll c81lall members voted aye. The !layor declared the motion carried. Commissioner Masters then submitted the name of Marya M, Gibbs for appointment on the Park Board. It was moved by Commissioner Herson that the appointment be confirmed. Seconded by Mayor Davis.
