".T'lL 1T.1I'~"" PO",..... 3'.~" The Commission met in regular session at 10 a.m. and was aalled to order by Mayor Davis. Roll call showed the' fOllowing offioers present. Mayor Davis, Commissioners Beam and Filion, Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins. The minute of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of applioations for permits and licenses the following were Mrs.Hensen Repairs to building E~ lot 5 Blook 1 Tideland East of laurel Street residence Lot Z Block 32 N.R.Smith Sub. to Building interier Lot 6 Block 446 Townsite Pedlers lioense for May 10,1932 Public Baths for t~y & June 1932 Rooming house,-l5 rooms to June 30th.1932 granted,- $500.00 225.00 325.00 10.00 4.17 2.50 W.J.Faulkner Remodel C.K.Hulse Repairs William Williamson Crystal Bath HORse Alio,e Hughes (Cresoent rooms) Under the head of Introduction of Ordinances the following Ordinanoe was introduaed, read in full andplaoed on its First and Seond readings,- An Ordinanoe ApprOVing and confirming assessments and assessment roll of Local Improvement Distriat No.145 for the improvement of aertain property,to wit: Blocks 120 and 121,and the North Half of Block 113 and the North Halh of Bloak 114, by the oonstru- ation of a lateral sewer oonunencing at the trunk sewer at the interseotion of "H" street with the alley between Fifth and Sixth Streets running easterly along said alley to "D" street,all in the City of Port Angeles ,Washington, together with all appurtenanoes and e~uipment necessary to complete the same and to do such other work as may be necessary in conneation therewith,and which said improvemen$tdistrict was created and said improvement ordered under Ordinance No.968 of the City of Port Angeles ,levying and assessing the amounts thereof against the several lots, traots and parcels of land and other property as shown on the said roll; ordering the collection of suoh assessments, areating and establishing a speoial local improvement fund for daid district and ordering that the said assessments be paid into suoh special fund. Under the head of Reports from City Offioers,- OFFICE OF CITY ENGINEER May ll,1932 To the Honorable Mayor and City Commission, Port Angeles, Wn. Gentlemen, The thirty day period sinoe the oompletion and aaoeptanoe of the work done by Jas.H.Coyne, Contraotor, on Looal Improvemsnt District No.145 has elapsed and no unoompleted or defective work has been discovered for which the City makes alaim. I I therefore recommend that the 15% retained ($403.54) of the cost of the work be paid .to the Contraotor,Jas.H.Coyne. . It was moved by Commissioner Filion that the foregOing Engineer's report be aooepted and that the City Clerk be instructed to draw a warrant for the l5% retained '$403.54 on the ~Jas.H.Coyne Contraot on Local Improvement District No.145 in aooordance with the said Xngineer's report. Seconded by Commissioner Beam. Onroll oall all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion oarried.
