WHERilAS, The City l:ommiscion on April 15, 1942, adopted a resolution authorizing the sale of the following
desoribed real property to W. D. McMehan:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said resolution aoove referred to, be, and the said resoluLon is
hereb:{ recinded an:! the City Clerk is he;re'0y instructed to prepare a resolution for adoption authorizing
the sale of tho North 120 feet of Lot Four (4), Block One (1), Tide Lands West of Laurel Street in front
of Port Angeles, Washir:gton, to W. D. McMahan, and accepting the South 150 feet of the E.,st ; of Lot Five
(5), Block One (1), West of Leurel Street in front of Port Angeles, Washington, as part payrr.ent for said
property.
It was ~oved by Co~~issicner Bean that the foregoing resclution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Comrnissioner Masters. On rol] call all merr.bers vcted aye. The MayoJ declared the :notion carried.

1\HEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired
the same as an investment for the Local Improvement Distriot Guaranty Fund:
The North 120 feet of Let Four(,,), Blook One (1), Tide Lands West of Laurel Street,
in front of the City of Port Awceles, Washington, and
1\llEREAS, W. D. l!cltahen has ofcoreo to purohase the above described real property from the City of Port
~,n~eles for the sum of $30C.00 and a_ deed to the South 150 feet of the East ~. of Lot Five (5), Block One
(1), Tide Lands West of Laurel Street in front of the City of Port Angeles, Washington,
WHEREAS, the City C0l71:'!11ssion has viewed the said pr-operty and is cf the opinion that the offer is fair
va~le and at this time it is the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sae made.
NOW, THEREFORS, lE ;T RESCl'TED, that the said ofeer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
said property at private sale to the said W. D.Mc~'Ahan for the s um and the real property hereinabove
rr.e~tioned, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to
prepare a q"it claic. deed conveyinG said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of
Port Angela s be, and he is hereby instructed to execute said qui~ cla:m deed, and that the !.layor of the
City of Port Aneeles be, and he is her2by instructed to countersign said quit claim deed when the purchase
price has been paid in full.
It was moved by Co~~issioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Commissioner Masters. On roll call all members votedaye. The Mayor deolared the motion carried.

WHE~EAS, The City ~f Po~t Angeles is the owner of the following descri~ed real p~operty, hav~ng acquired
the same by Treasurer's deed dated June 16, 1942, under and by virtue of the euthority of Section 9393
of ReminGton's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 DC the Laws of 1929, page 365, ~o-wit:
West 42~ feet of LDt Fifteen (15), Blook Thirty-nine (39) of Norman R. Srr.ith's
SubdivisLn of the Townsite of Port Angeles, and

WHEREAS, Otto R. Brodhun has of~ered to purchase the a bove described real property from the City of Port
Angeles for the sum of $125.44, and
WHERE.l\E, the City Gorr..mission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair
value and sufficient to cover the amount paid by the City for sRid proparty, plus 81~ L.I.D. Assessments,
includi~g interest and other charges agai~st the same.
NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOE7ED, that the saic offer ce accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell
the said propert:r at private sale to the said Otto R. Brodhun for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject
to ROY ether valid liens against the same; that the Cit.y At:orney be instructed to prepare a quit claim
deed oor,veying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angel,s be, end
he is hereby instructed tc execute said ~uit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles
be, and he is hereby ir.stI"'J.cted tn countersign said quit c]aim deed when the purchase price and all
