RESOLUTION TO TRANSFER CERTAIN ITEMS
'.'IITHIN THE CURRENT ;:;XPENSE roND.
VffiEREAS, it appears to the City Commission that unusual expenditures were necessary
for the purchase of hardware and tools for the reason that it was necessary to supply a
large number of unemployed men with tools for work on City projects through the unemploy-
ment relief, and
VffiEREAS, it appears that it was also necessary to purchase an unusual amount of gas
and oil because of the said work of and for the unemployed, and
VffiEREAS, it becomes necessary to transfer certain sums to the funds thus used from
from other funds from which the same can be transferred without impairing the fundamental
: requirements of the said funds, and
j' It further appearing that all of the said items mentioned and involved in the transfer
are within the general head of "Maintetlance of Streets", and
I I'ffiEREAS, the said contingency could' not have been reasonably foreseen at the time of
prepareing the budget.
THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED That the sum of Seven hundred Dollars be and it is hereby
wi thdrawn from the budget for "Road Oil" and added to the budget for "Hardware and Tools".,
