The Commission met in regular session at 10 A.M. and was called to order U,y Mayor Beetle. Roll call
showed ,the following officers present: Mayor Beetle, Commissioners Beam and Lind, Attorney Conniff and
CJe rk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of Applications for Building Permits the following were granted:
K. S. Lirhus, remodel building, Lot 2, Block 31, N. R. Smith's Oubd.

Under the head of Introduction of Ordinances the following ordinance was introduced, read in full, and
placed on its first and second readings:
AN ORDINANCE setting forth an emergency affecting the public health and safety; requlrlng expenditures
unforeseen) providing for the issuance of emergency warrants; and declaring an emergency making the orddi-
nance immediately effective.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn for same:
