Roll Call of 'officers shoveed the following present: [.(ayor Epperson, CQwJllissioners Steele and Johoson, Attorney Vlilson and Clerk law. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of applications for building permits and licenses, the fOllowing were granted: Building Permits: Leonard Nel'1tl1Bn Herrick Fox Frank Pollow 'Wesley Garling Build 2-Ro om ca o1n; Lot 17, Elk. 101, Townsite Reshingle and put new sidir~ on garage; Lot 15, Blk. 290, Townsite tove and renodel house; W 20' Lot 3, all 4; alk. 328, Townsite Build 5-Room Dwelling; Lot 7, 51k. 175, Townsite $ 500.00 100 .00 2,000.00 4,300.00 I 1.0J 2.001 for Fordson tractor by the Street Dept. was read, and I be accepted. Motion carried. Van Brocklin and Nelson, insurance brokers, appeared before the Commission regarding distribution of insurance on City property. After some discussion, Commissioner Johnson moved that no insurance agency shall ,participate in City insurance unless such agency shall have maintained an independent agency in an office I 'for at least one year, and Banking & Loan Institutions should be excluded. Seconded by Commissioner Steele. All vcted Aye. I,lotion carried. I ,Engineer Dodge reported on the water convention attended the previous week, and spoke briefly on the difficulties and problems of other cities and lack of supplies and material. Under the head of reading and passage of ordinances, the following was passed first reading. ORDINANCE NO. 1163 AN ORDINANCE relating to public health and sanitation; the collection and disposal of garbage; and amending ISection 5 and Section 12 of Ordinance No. 1129 passed by the City Commission on September 27, 1944. It Vias moved by j,(ayor Epperson that the foregoing ordinance be passed first reading. Seconded by Commissioner Jolmson. All voted Aye. Motion carried. i 1 I 'Under the head int roduced : i John H.
