II The Commission met in regular session at 10 A.M., and was called to order by Mayor Robinson. Jloll call

Cherles L, Goodwin requested leave of absence while serving in the armed forces, which was granted.
Under the head of introduction of resolutions, the following were introduced:
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired thEl
1 same by Treasurer's deed dat.ed June 5, 1945, under and by virtue of the quthority of Section 9595 of
Remington'S Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit:
Lots Five (5) and Six (6), Block One Hundred Seven (107), of E-: C. Baker's Subdivision
of Suburban Lot No. 19, Port Angeles, Washington, and
WHgREAS, Henry Dan. has offered to pruchase the above described ,real preperty from the City of Port
Angeles for the 8WJ\ of 1550.00, and
MffiREAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and :i,s of the opinion th;:\t the offer is' fair
I value and is in excess of the amount paid by the City for said property, plus all L.I.D. Assessments,
, including all interest and other charges against the same.

"NOVl, THE:RE:FORE, BE IT RESOLVllD, that the said offer ge accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
,said property at private sale to the said Henry Danz for the s urn hereinabove set forth, subject to any
other valid liens against the'sime; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed
, conveying said property to the purchaser, and that ths City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is '
, hereby. instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Fort Angeles be and he
is hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed when phe purchase price and all~accrued interest
thereon has been paid in full.
RESOLUTION
MlEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the mmer of the following rescribed real property, having acquired the
same by Treasurer's deed, dated May 18, ~945, under and by virtue of the authorith of Section 959B of
Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit:
Lots One (1), Two (2), Thrse (5), Four (4), and Five (5), in Blocll: Two Hundred
Twenty-three (245), Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington, and
1,"NHEREAS, Harry Kochanek ,has offered to purchase the above described real property fromthe City of Port
Angeles for the sum of '$750.00, payable as follows: $200.00 as a down payment and '50.00 on or before the
:116th day of June, 1945, and $50.00 on or before the 16th day of each and every month thereafter until paid
'in full. Interest at the rate of 7% per annum to be computed on the balance due and paid with the monthJ,y
installment, and
, WHE:REAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the said offer is
value and that at this time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the

': NOW, TlIEREFORE, BE IT RE:SOLVllD, That the said offsr be accepted and that the City 0 f Port Angeles sell the
said property at private sale to the said Harry Kocijanek for the sum hereinsbove set forth, subject to any

It was moved by Commissioner Masters the foregoing resolutions be approved and adopted. Seconded !;Is
Commissioner Beam. Roll Call showed all manbers voting Aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.

one bid was on file for the publishing of City BuSiness, The eort Angeles Evening News.
