'l~' The Commission met in regular session at 10 a.m. and was called to order by Mayor Davisl Roll call showed the following officers present. Mayor Davis, Commissioners Beam and Filion,Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of applications for licenses the following was granted. Royal Taxi 5-passenger car ~5.00 Police Judge Thos.Geisness reported 12 cases tried and ~63.00 collected in fines for the month of May,1933. Report ordered filed. Under the head of New Business the following resolution ~ns introduced, - .."., IJ ,.- I ~ ~~ -I ~u..'""'-"~ RZSOLUTION DESIGNATING TAXI STAIlD. t" ~.~--,#~/-<J~(",li~~- 4~ OK ''1 (jl-,,- 7..]8 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO~IT1ISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANG~LES AS FOLLOTIS: VffiEREAS, the owner and lessee of the Lee Hotel property has consented in writing to the setting apart of certain portions of the street area abutting his property as taxi stand; BE IT RESOLVED that the following area is hereby set apart and fixed as taxi stand for George Preibe and Joe Biery,operating as the Royal Taxi Company,to wit: Ten feet along the curb immediately west of the space now reserved for the Lee Hotel. Such space is reserved for a taxi stand reservation for one taxi cab of said company. This resolution is adopted in conformity with the authority and provisions of Section 15,Ordinance Uo.960 of the City of Port Angeles. It was moved by Hayor Davis that the foregoing resolution be adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Beam. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. A petition signed by 300 juvenile fishermen of Port Angeles, was presented to the Commission,petitioning the City Commission to take action to induce the State Game Commission to stock Peabody Creek,Valley Creek and Turnvlater Creek with trout for the benefit and recreation of the youth of the oity. The Commission ordered the petition filed and advised the petitioners that they would take the matter up immediately with the State Game Commission. The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn for same,- Thos J.Scott Fire Department J.
