The Commission met in regular session at 10 A.M. and was called to order by Mayor Davis. Roll call
show~d ;the following officers present: Mayor Davis, CoIDlIlissioners Henson and Masters, Attorney Conniff
and vlerk HaVlkins.
The minutes of t he previous session were read and approved.
Thos. C1lisoess, Police Judge, reported 46 cases tried and $315.50 collected in fines for the month of
May, 1939. Report ordered filed.
Under the head of Applications for Building f>ermits the following were granted:

Under the head of ,New Business,-
Mayor D'avis reported. that Police Judge, Thos. Geisness, had been granted a temporary leave of absence
and that he had appointed William ~'. Phillips Police Judge Pro Tenq>ore to serve during his absence.
'The City Clerk was instructed to issue a call for bids to do the city printing for the year ending
June 30, 1940.
The Commi.ssion examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn for same:

following resolution was introduced:
RESOLUTION
I WHEREAS, 'Albert Reagin and David J. GastIgaIl living near the corner of Front and Alder Streets, desires
electric service and the City of Port Angeles has no service available at that location, and
WHEREAS, The Puget Sound Power and Light Company whose lines cover that location, are willing to make
the necessary extension to furnish service for the said Albert Reagin and David J. Gastman,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Puget Sound Power and Light Company be permitted to serve the
said Albert Reagin and David J. Gastman who live within the City of Port Angeles for a perl. od of five
years, and Until such time thereafter as the City has service available at that location.
It was moved by Commissioner Henson that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Commi.ssioner Masters. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
