Roll call showed the following officers present: Mayor Davis, ~ommissioner henson, Attorny Conniff anc Clerk hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of Applications for Building Permits and Licenses the following were granted: C. K. Harbison, Garage and Woodshed, Lot 5, Blk. 181, Townsite Ear:). Goodrich, Remodel Garage, Lot 5, Blk. 288, 'l'ownsite Mrs. Wm. BrUce, Remodel Home, Lot 4, Elk. 526, townsite Harrington & Giles, 1 Single "un Shooting (;)iHlery Texico Service Station, Soft Drink 40.00 50.00 SOO.OO 2.10 .85 ,I Under the head of Introduction of Resolutionsthe following resolution was introduced: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE INPROVEMENT OF FRONT STREET FROM ENNIS STREET TO LINCOLN STREET, FRANCIS STREET FROM FRONT STREET TO EIGHTH STREET, PEABODY STREET FROM FRONT STREET TO THE BOULEVARD, FOURTH STREET FROll PEABODY STREET TO LINCOLN STREET, CHERRY STREET FROM SECOND STREET TO EIGHTH STR~ET, SECOND STREET FROM CHERRY STREE1' TO PINE STREE'!', PINE STREET FROM EIGHTH STREET TO THE BOULEVARD, CEDAR STR~ET FROM SECOND STREET TO EIGHTH STREET, TUMWATER STREET FHOM THIHD STREET TO FIFTH STREET, "c" STREET FROM FIFTH STREET TO EIGHTH STRh.ET, fIFTH STREET FROM TU!.lWATER STREET TO "M" STREET AND THE EDIZ HOOK ROAD FROM END OF THE CONCRETE PAVEMENT TO THE CITY LIMITS. I RESOLVED, That the City of Port Angeles pave Front Street from Ennis Street to Lincoln Street, Francis Street from Front Street to Eighth Street, Peabody Street from Front Street to the Boulevard, Fourth Street. from Peabody Street to Lincoln Street, Cherry Street from Second Street to Eighth Street, Second Street. from Cherry Street to Pine Street, Pine Street from Eighth Street to the Boulevard, Cedar Street from Second Street to Eighth Street, Tumwater Street from Third Street to Fifth Street, "C" Street from Fifth Street to Eighth Street, Fifth Street from Tumwater ~treet to "M" Street and the Ediz Hook Road from end of. the concrete pavement to the city limits, with a Light Bituminous surfaoe treatment, accoding to the Standard Specifications of the State of Washington, Department of Highways, for Secondary Highways, adopted by the State of Washington, and approved bw the United States Bureau of Public Roads, . AND BE' IT FURTHER RESOLVED, The cost of said paving be paid out of the City Street Fun:! as provided for in Chapter 187 of the Laws of 1957 and out of any other fund or funds that may be available for that pur- pose. It was. moved bw vommissioner Henson that the foregoing resolution be adopted. Seconded by Mayor Davis. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
