Olympic Painters and Decorators, one coat $121.20, two coats, $200.00. The bid was referred to the Light Superintendent for further consideration. I: Lou Kiszak and Attorney Harper again appeared before the Commission regarding Occupational Tax charges. I' After dis cussion and due consideration, it was decided that the Ordinance would not be amended lllt continue , in force Wltil obligations to the City are paid. Under the head of new business, the report of Police Judge Taylor for the month of A~y, showing 75 cases tried and $1,2SO.00 fires collected WaS approved and ordered filed. I A petition signed by East side residents was presented by a committee requesting better water service and I pressure. The Commission and Engineer informed that material for line enlargement is not available. The I peti tion was referred to the Water Superintendent. ,I Under the head of introduction of resolutions the follov~ng vras introduced: RESOLUTION RElATING TO THE PENSION PlAN FOR THE MISCELlANEOUS i AND CERTAIN UNIFORMED EMPLOYEES OF THE , CITY OF PORT ANGELES I WHEREAS, it is necessary to determine the credit to be afforded to the employees of the City of Port I Angeles affected by the pension plan relating to miscellaneous and certain unlfonned employees as provided by the Session Laws of 1947, Chapter 71, known as the "Statewide City Employees Retirement System Law, Ii I being Remington's Revised Statutes 9592-150, et seq,., and WHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles Wlder the provisions of Section 12 of said act, being Remington's Revised" Statutes 9592-141, is required to elect as to one of three credits to be afforded for prior service by aI\jf member of the said pension system, and i I It was moved blf Commissioner Johnson that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by : Mayor Epperson. All members voted Aye. Motion carried.
