I The Commission met in regular session'at 10 A.M. and was called to Cll'der by Mayor Beetle, Roll call
showed the following officers present: Mayor Beetle, Commissioners Beam and Lind, Attorney Conniff and
11 Cle rk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of Applications for Building Permits and Licenses the following were granted:

Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions the following resolution WaS introduced:

TO SELL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY FORECLOSURE

WHEREAS, The City of Port IAngeles is the pwner of the following described property in the City of Port
Angeles, to-wit:
Lot Nineteen (19), Block One Hundred Nineteen (119) of the Townsite of Port
Angeles, Clallam ~ounty, Washington,
which said property has been acquired by the City on foreclosure of delinquent local improvement assess-
ments under Chapter 205 of the Session Laws of 1927, and
WHEREAS, GisliFrederickson has offered to purchase the above described real peoperty from the City of
Port Angeles for the sum of $45.95, and
WHEREAS, The City Cormnis sion ha s viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair
value and equals the amount paid by the City for said property, plus all L.I.D. assessments, including
interest and other charges against the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the said offer be accepted and that the City of Po~t Angeles sell the
said property at private sale to the ssid Gisli Frederickson for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject
to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a deed convey-
ing said property to the purchaser, and the City Treasurer be authorized to execute the said deed in
accordance with the provisions of this resolution and Chapter 275, Session Laws of 1927, when the purchase
price and all accrued interest thereon has been paid in full.
It was moved by Connnissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and adooted. Seconded by
Conmissioner Lind. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Under the head of Introduction of Ordinances the following ordinance was introduced, read in full and
placed on its first and second readings:
AN ORDINANCE amending Section BO of Ordinance No. 971, entitled, "An Ordinance relating to and providing
for the licensing of certain occupations} vocations, trades, amusements, places of amusement, exhibitions,
entertainments, and certain motor and other vehicles; defining offences; pro~lding certain regulations for I
same; providing penalties; providing for the suspension and revccation of licenses; repealing Ordinance
Nos. 418, 452, 682, 695, 703 and 805 of the City of Port Angeles and other ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict here~th; and declaring an emergency".
Under the head of New Business:
The matter of awarding the concessions for the sale of ice cream, soft drinks, etc. at the Race Street
Pleyfield came up for consideration. ~.pplications on file for said concessions were as follows:

Clyde C. Tenny
After dlle consideration it was moved by Commissioner Lind that the concession be awarded to Clyde C.
Tenny, under terms and conditions to be determined by the City Commission. Seconded by Mayor Beetle.
roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn for same:

The City Clerk was instructed to issue a call for bids to do the City Printing for the year ending June 50,
1942. Bids to be received at the City Clerk's office up to July 2, 1941, at 10 A.I>;. and not later.~
There being no further business the Commission then adjourned.
