liThe Commission met in regular session at 10 A.M., and was salled to order by Mayor Robinson. Roll call 'I
)showed the following Officers present: Nayor Robinson, Commissioners Beam & Masters, Attorney Johnston and
II Clerk Hawkins.
:\The minutes of the previous session were read and approved;
Under the head of applications for building pennits the following were granted:

Under the head of new businese: A petition signed by City employees requesting that the offics hours be
changed from 9 to 5, to 8 to 4, during the months of June, July, and August. All of which is in accordance
'[with State law, which provides that during the month of June, July, and August, office hours may be changed
from 9 to 5, to 8 to 4.
;IAfter due consideration, the above request was granted for the perilhd commencing July 1st and ending August
.51st. The Commission instructing that all city offices during said period be opened at B A.M. and closed
lat 4 P.M.

WHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property which was regularly
lacquired: for llllinicipal purposes, which are however no longer needed. ,I
Block Four (4), of Glenn Addition to Port Angeles, Washington, and
WHEREAS,' under and by the instruction of the City CommisSiLon, the City. Clerk offered the above described I'
property for sale by issuing a call for sealed bids for the' purchase of the said property, bids to be opened
June 6, 1945, at which time the bids were opened and it was found that the bid of Joe C. Mowbray of $500.001
lwas the highest and best Offer, and I
!'WHEREAS,. the City Commission is of the opinion that offer is fair value, and at this time should be
'accepted' and the sale made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell said
property to Joe C. Mowbray for the sum hereinabove set forth on the following terms: $50.00 as a down
payment and $15.00 on ilr before July 10, 1945, and ,$15.00 on or before the 10th day of each and every montlt
thereafter until paid in full, togetlher with interest at the rate of 7% per annum paid on'monthly balances

WHEREAS, the City Collllllission has viewed the said property and:is of the opinion that the offer is fair value
and is in excess of the amount paid by the city for said real property, inclUding assessments, interest, and I:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
