Roll call showed the following officers present. Mayor Davis, Co~ssioners Henson and Masters, Attorney Conniff and Clerk Hawkins. Gentlemen: Pursuant to published call, we submit the following as our bid on the City Printing for the year 1958-1959: We will file a good Seven cents per nonpareil line, single colum measure. Fourteen cents per line, single column measure, for tabulated matter when published only one time. If published two or more times, tabulated matter also at seven cents a line, single column measure. and sufficient bond in the event of our bid being accepted. Port Angeles Evening News By John Schweitzer, Mgr. It was moved by Commissioner Henson that the bid of the Port Angeles Evening News for doing the City printing be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be instructed to sign a contract with them upon the filing of a bond approved by the City Attorney. Seconded by Mayor Davis. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. Under the head of new business: It appearing that that certain Current Expense Fund warrant No.25850, issued April 6, 1958, in the sum of $15.00 to Harold Thompson, who later sold the said warrant to the firm of Hoare & Headrick, and it further appearing that the said warrant had been destroyed, all of said fact having been established by affidavits on file in the City Clerk's office. And it further appearing that the said firm of Hoare & Headrick had requested that a duplicate warrant be issued in lieu of the destroyed warrant and had filed a bond approved by the City Attorney to indemnify the City from loss, as provided by law. Nmv, therefore it was moved by Commissioner Masters that the Indemnity Bond of Hoare & Headrick be accepted and the City Clerk be instructed to issue a duplicate of Current Expense Fund Warrant No.25850 issued April 6,1958 in the sum of $lS.OO to Harold Thompson. Seconded by Commissioner Henson. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
