"The Colllll1ission met in regular session at 10 A.M., and was called to order by Mayor Robinson. Roll call
the following officers present: Mayor Robinson, Conmdssioners Beam and Masters, Attorney Johnston, and
I Clerk Hawkins.
iThe minutes of the previous session were read and approved.

RESOLUTION
,jWHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following real property, to-wit. Lots One (1) to
'jEight (8), Inclusive Block Three Hundred Ninety-four (594), Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington, having
jacqtlired Lots One (1) to Seven (7), Inclusive, Block Three Hundred Ninety-four (594), by Treasurer's "deed
dated Jyne:';!26, 1945, and Lot Eight (8), Block Three Hundred Ninety-four (594), Townsite of Port Angeles,
Washington by Treasurer's deed dated All.gust 18, 1945, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9595
of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the laws of 1929, page 565, and

IWIlEREAS, Walter W. Pattison has offered to purchase from the City of Port Angeles the above described real
;prllp!lrty for the sum of $240.00, payable as follows. $24.00 as a dOl'/ll payment am $15.00 on or before the
7th day of July, 1945, and $15.00 on or before the 7th day of each and every month thereafter until paid in
I full, togetner wi th interest at the rate of 7% per annum on monthly balances and paid with the monthly

WHEREP.S, the City Commission has vieVfed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair valud:i

IWHEREAS, it appearing that in that certain resolution adopted by the City Commission June 15, 1945,

IAnge1es Towneite, an error had been made in giving the date of the deed from the County Treasurer to the Cit~
i\. of Port Angeles, as August 21, 1941, as this property was acquired by County Treasurer I s de,cd dated' June 25,:1

'NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the resolution above referred, be and said resolution is hereby cancelled.

I WHEREAS , The City of Port Angeles is the o""er of the following described real property, having acquired the
same by Treasurer's deed dated June 25, 1945, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9595 of [I
'Remington's Reviser'd Statutes, Ch{lpter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit:
I . Lot One (1), Block One Hundred Two (102), Thomas W. Carter's Subdivision of Suburban
Lots 11 & 16, Port. Angeles Townsite, and
IWHEREAS, John F. Nicholson and Mary G. Nicholson, husband and wife, have offered to purchase the above
. described real property from the City of Port Angeles for the sum of $150 .00, and
,WHEREAS, the City COI!!lllission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion thet the offer is fair
,value and is in excess of the amount paid Qy the City for said property, plus all 1.I.D. assessments,
.including all interest and other charges against the same.

property at private sale to the said John F. Nicholson and Mary G. Nicholson, for the sum hereinabove set
forth, subject to alV other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a i
quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk 0 f the City of Port I,
Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of
Port Angeles be and he is here by instructed to countersign said quit claim deed when the purchase price
and all accrued interest thereon hes been paid in full. -
It .was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing resolutions be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Colllll1issioner Beam. Roll call showed all members voting Aye. The Mayor declared the motion "carried.

Under the head 0 f unfinished business the City Clerk reported thet pursuant to published call for bids.to '
furnish Bituminous Canent plant mix, Type-Class F., one bid was on file as follows:
Western Asphalt Company, 500 yards at $6.00, $3000.00. It was moved by Mayor Robinson the 'above bid be
accepted. Seconled by Commissioner Masters. On roll call, all members voted Aye. The Mayor declared the
motion carried.
Under the head 0 f unfinished business: It appearing that in that certain resolution adopted by the City I
Conmdssion February 9, 1944, and recorded in Vol. 20 of Commissioner'S Proceedings on page 607, for the ,sale
of .Lots 5 and 4, Block 4, Westphal's First Subdivision to Port Angeles, the name of the purchaser used in
said resolution was E. A. Halberg instead of Edwin A. Halberg, the true name of the purchaser.

Now, the said Edwin A. Halberg requests that when 'all payments are made and ill tenJIs of the sale completed
that the deed to said property be issued to Edwin A. Halberg instead of E. A. Halberg. i

There being no oBjections, it was moved by Commissioner Masters that the deed when issued to too above
described property be made to Edwin A. Halberg as requested. Seconded by Colllll1issioner Beam. On roll call
I all members voted Aye: The Mayor declared the motion carried.
