Roll call 5!holVed the following officers present: CommissiolieJ;'s Lutz and Masters, *ttorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of Applications for Building Permits and Licenses, the following were granted: J. A. Hoare, Repair Building, Lot 10 & 11, Blk. 2, Uillisms & Cramer's Sub. John Sherman, Addition to House, Lot 3, Blk. 20, N. R. Smith's Sub. L. E. McGlenn, Addition to House, Lots 13 & 14, Blk. 1, London Park Sub. Mrs. 0, E. White, Restaurant at Foot of Lincoln ~t. M. Ossasa, Restaurant at 124 W. Front St. 500.00 75.00 50.00 15.00'" 15 . 00 v Police Judge, Thos. Geisness, reported 12 cases tried and ~70,OO collected in fines for the month of June, 1935. '(eport ordered filed. Under the head of New Business: A petition signed by Wm. Rindfliesch, C. W. Gormley, et als., petitioning the Commission to extend the water main from the Fair Grounds west to Willow Hill Bus Station on West 18th Street, was read and laid over for further consideration. Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions the following Resolutions were introduced: RES 0 L UTI 0 N AUTHORIZING T~ANSFER OF ONE-HALF INTEREST IN SEVEN CERTAIN LIGHT DEPARTMENT POLES, AND TWO AlqCHORS AND GUYS TO THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH CO~~ANY ?ffiEREAS, The Superintendent of Utilities having presented to the Commission an approved agreement with the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company for the Joint user of One (1) 35-foot Round BedarPole and Six (6) 40-foot Round Cedar Poles, together with anchors and guys, more particularly described as City Light Department poles, numbered 261-D, 261-C, 260-H, 260-G, 260-F, 260-E and 259~E, located on the south side of the alley between 8th and 9th Streets, from Tumwater to liB Streets, as shown on the blue print drawing, marked "Exhibit A", and attached to the-said agreement, and, YmEREAS, It appearing that the said agreement was in proper form and that the execution thereof is desirable and for the best interest of the ';i ty. THER,FORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the agreement be approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to execute the same in duplicate on behalf of the City of Port Angeles. It was moved by Commissioner Lutz that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Masters. On roll callall members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion oarried. RES 0 L UTI 0 N AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF ONE-HALF INTEREST IN EIGHT CERTAIN LIGHT DEPARTMENT POLES TO THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY. ~~EREAS, the Superintendent of Utilities having presented to the Commission an approved agreement with the Paoifio Telephone and ~elegraph Company for the joint user of Two (2) 35-foot Round Cedar Poles and Six (6) 40-foot Round Cedar poles, more particularly located and desoribed as follows: Light Department poles numbered 236-C and 238-D on the south side of the 7 th - 8th Street alley between Tumwa ter and "A" Streets , Light Depart- ment Poles numbered 1117~A, 1117-D and 1117-E, on the south side of Lopez and Orcas Avenues alley east of Peabody Street, and Light Department poles numbered 1217-H, l217-1 and 1217-J, on the south side of Leighton avenue extended, west of Private Road, as shown on the blue print drawing marked "Exhibit An and attached to the said agreement, and, VffiEREAS, It appearing that the said agreement was in proper form and that the execution thereof is desirable and for the best interest of the City. THEREFO~, BE IT RESOLVED, Th~t the agreement be approvedand the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized. to execute the same in duplicate on behalf of the City of Port Angeles. ' It was moved by Commissioner Lutz that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Masters. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
