Roll call I of officers showed the follmving present: Acting ~ayor Steele, Commissioner Johnson, Attoryney Wilson and i Clerk Law. I i The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. A resolution adopted by the Clallam County Commissioners on July 5, 1946, regarding sale of propert_' to the City was read as follows: RES 0 L UTI 0 N :WHEREAS, the County of Clallam is the ovmer of the follor.ing described property lying vdthin the boundaries 10f the City of Port Angeles, to wit: Suburban Lot 47 of the Townsite of Port Angeles, - - - - - - - - - 'WHEREAS said property is of no particular use to the county for county purposes but would be of benefit to the City of Port Angeles for municipal purposes by reason of the gravel located thereon, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deemed a price of ~200.00 adequate compensation for said property! Ipayment to be made in ,January, 1947, now, therefore, :IBE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF roU;JTY aJ).!]USSIOllERS OF CLALLAE aJUjiTY: (THAT said property be sold to the City of Port Angeles for the sum of &200.00, payrrent in cash in Januaq, 11947, all pursuant to section 12 of Chapter 254 of the Laws of Washington, 1945. lEE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said City of Port Angeles, as purchaser, be entitled to the use of said I !property from and after the passage of this resolution and the acceptance of the terms herein qy the City Icommission of the City of Port Angeles. I '[BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper county officers be, and they are, authorized to execute and deliver J the City of Port Angeles a deed conveying said property to said City when the purchase price thereof has I ,oeen paid. RES 0 L UTI 0 N 1 iWHEREAS, ClalLam Count:>' is the owner of Suburban Lot 47 of the Townsite of Port Angeles, and has offered to ,'sell the sa'11e to the City of Port Angeles for municipal purposes for the sum of $200.00 cash to be paid in JanJary of 1947, and WHEREAS, the City Commission has considered said offer and deems it fair and reasonable, and has also 'determined that said lot is necessary to the City of Port Angeles for municipal purposes by reason of the ,:graVel located thereon, now, therefore, : BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COHiISSIOlJ OF TIlE CITY OF PORT AIllELES: That the offer of the county be accepted and that the' cit;r purchase said property upon the terms and conditions ,herein evnressed. Pursuant to a call for bids to furnish a Servi-Car for the Police Department, the following one bid was lopened: Wray and Haoer, Servi-Car equipped as per specifications, $829.4S. It was moved by Ilr. Steele that 'the bid be referred to Mayor Epperson and Chief Ide for further consideration. Seconded by Commissioner Johnson. All voted Aye. ~otion carried.
