Roll Call shoVfed the following officers present: Mayor Robinson, Commissioners Beam and Masters, Attorney Johnston, and Clerk Hamcins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Johnson, caretaker at Civic Field at third and Race Sts. tendered his'resignation as caretaker to take effect August 10. 1945. It was moved by Commissioner Matters that above resignation be accepted. Seconded by Mayor Robinson. On roll call all members voted AYfj. The Mayor declared the motion caTried~ , Und~r the head of introduction of resolutions, the follOwing were introduced: RESOLUTION To Sell Property Acquired by Foreclusure WHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following describsd property in the City of Port ,Angeles" to-wit: I. Lot Seven (7), Block Three Hundred Seventy-Seven (377), 'foWl1site if Port Angeles, Washington, ' which said property has been acquired by the City on foreclosure of delinquent local improvement assessments.' under Chapter 205 of the Session Laws of 1927, and WHEREAS, Keith A. Neer and Septama A. Neer, husband ani wife, have offered to purchase the above described reai property from the City of Port Angeles for the sum of $25.00, and WHEREAS, the City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value and that at this time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted am the sale made. NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T RESOLVED, that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said Keith A. Neer and Septama A. Neer for tile sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instrueted to prepare a deed conveying said property to the purchaser, an:! the City Treasurer be authorized to execute the said deed in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and Chapter 275, Session Laws of 1927, when the ,_IC' pur9hase price and all accrued interest thereon has been paid in;'full. RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired the same by Treasurer's deed dated August 10, 1929, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9395 of . I Remington'S Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 365, to-wit: Lots Eleven (n) and Twelve (l~), Block Three Hundred Fifty-three (555), Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington, and~ WHEREAs, J. W. Wheeler has offered to purchase from the City of Port Angeles the above described real property for the sum of $500.00, payable as follows: $50.00 as a dovm payment and $15.00 on or before the 6th day of August, 1945, and $15.00 on or before the 6th day of each and every month thereafter until paid in full, together with interest at -the rate of77'!> per annum, computed on monthly balances due and paid with, the monthJy installments, and WHEREAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair valuJ , am at this tme it is to the best interest of the City that it be accepted and tlIne sale made. I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said! , property at private sale to the said J. W. Wheeler for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other , valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to execute said quit clam ceed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be ani he is hereby instructed to countersign said quit clem deed when the purchase price am all accrued interest thereon has been paid i1r full.
