Proceedings of the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington

The Commission met in regular session at 10 a.m. and was called to order by Mayor Davis.
Roll call showed ~e following.,officers present: Mayor Davis, Commissioners Lutz and
Masters, Attorney Conniff and ~lerk Hawkins.
The 'minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of Applications for Building Permits and Licenses, the following were
gran ted :

Under the head of Intruduction of Resolutions,. the following Resolution was introduced:
RESOLUT ION
Resolution provid~ng for the improvement of ~ighth Street from the west margin of Lincoln
. Street to the East end of the Tumwater Creek Bridge.
RESOLVED, That the City of Port Angeles pave Eighth Street from the west margin of
Lincoln Street to the east end of the Tumwater Bridge, with a BITUMINOUS SURFACE ~REAT.
MENT, "Plant Mix" Type--Class }" according to the 1935 standard "pecifications of the
Sta te of i/ashingt on, Department of Highways, for secondary highways, adopted by the
State of ,jashington, Department of Highways, April 1935, and approved by the United
States Bureau of Public Roads; and be it further resolved that the cost of said paving
be paid out of the secondary highway funds received from the Btate of "ashington as
provided for in Chapter III of the Laws of 1935, and out of any other fund or funds that
may be available for that purpose.
It was moved by wommissioner Masters that the foregoing resoluti~n be approved and
adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Lutz. On rOll call all members voted aye. The Mayor
declared the motion carried,
