Roll call showed the following officers present: Mayor Beetle, Comnissioners Beam and Lind, Attorney Conniff and Cler k Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. !<.. Under the head of Introduotion of Resolutions the following resolutions were introduced: RESOL UTI ON WHEREAS, 'ihe City of Port Angeles is the o"ner of the following described property in the City of Port Angeles, to-wit: Lot Six (6), mock Three Hundred Nineteen (S19) of the Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington, which said propll!1l'ty has been acquired by the City on foreclosure of delinquent local improvement assess- ments under Chapter 205 of the Session Laws of 1927, and WHEREAS, Lawrence E. lI'allory has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port Angeles for the sum of $125.00, payable as follows: $25.00 as a down payment and $5.00 on or before the 1st day of September, 1941, and $5.00 on or before the 1st day of each and every month thereafter until paid in fall, together with interest on monthly balances due computed at 7% per annum and paid with the monthly installment, and WHER :AS, The City Comnission has viewed the said property and is of the opJ.nJ.on that the offer is fair value and is in excess of the amount paid by the City for said property, plus all L.LD. assessments, including interest and oth-=r charges against the same, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOlVED, That the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port .!Ingeles sell the said property at private sale to the said Lawrence E. Mallory for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and the City Treasurer be, and she is hsreby auth9rized to execute the said deed in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and Chapter 275, Session Laws of 1927, when the purchase price and all accrued interest thereon has been paid in full. RES~UTION WHEREAS, The City of t'ort Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired the same by Treasurer's deed dated September 10, 1938, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9593 of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page S65, to-wit: Lot One (1), Block Two Hundred Twenty-one (221), Tcwrnsite of Port Angeles, Wa shingt,on, and WHEREAS, F. S. Ingersoll has offered to purohase the above desoribed real property from the City of Port Angeles for the stnn of$75.CO, payable as fol,lows: $15.00 as a down payment and #5.00 on or before the 1st day of September, 1941, and $5.00 on or before the 1st day of each and every month thereafter until paid in full, togethsr with interest at the rate of 7% per anhum on monthly balances and ;:aid with the monthly insta1lnent,and WHEREAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the op~ru.on that the offer is fair value. and that at this time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sale inade. I NOW, T1IEllEjl1)RE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said cffer be accepted and that the. Oity of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said F. S. Ingersoll for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed when the purchase prive and all acolued interest thereon has been paid in full. It was moved by GOlrJrissioner Beam that t.he foregoing resolution be approved and adolt ed. Seconded by Commissioner Lind. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
