The Corrnnission met pursuant to adjournment at 10 A.I!. and was called to order by Corrnnissioner Bem Acting
Mayor. Roll call showed the following officers present: Comrrissioners Beam and Lind and Clerk Ha~ins,
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn for same:

The Commission met pursuant to adjournment at 10 ~.M. and was called to order by Comrr~ssioner Beam, Acting

The City Engineer having checked the bids for the improvement of Marine Drive from thewest margin of E
Street to the e,st margin of K Str~et and Laurel, Oak and Cherry Streets from the south margin of Eighth
Street to L.uridsen Blvd" opened J,uly 50, 1941, reported as follows:
Washington Ashphalt Co~pany,
Improvement of Laurel, Oak and Cherry Streets $25,725.00
I "II Marine Drive 5,200.00 .
It was moved by Commissioner Lind that the bid of WashL'1gton Asphalt Company be aocepted. Seconded by
'Commissioner Beam; On roll call all members voted aye', The J~.ycr declared the motion carried.
