Roll oall showed the fallowing offioers present: Mayor Davis, Commissioners Lutz and Masters and Clerk Hawkins. Under the head of Unfinished Business,- It appearing that it is necessary to transfer oertain unused items in the original estimate for the construotion of the Eighth Street Bridges to items that are depleted in order to oomplete the oontraot and that time of completion of the oontraot be extended from 180 days to 240 days, therefore the following resolutions were introduced oovering these matters. RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING CERTAIN ITEMS IN THE CONTRACT WHEREAS, It appearing in the construotion of the Eighth Street Bridges, Angeles Gravel & Supply Company, Contraotors, oertain items on the original estimate will be depleted and that in other items there will be unused and unneeded balanoes that oan be transferred to the depleted items suffioient to oomplete the oontraot, NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, That transfers be made as follows: Item No.4 Engineering to Item No.7, Misoellaneous Item No.4 n to Item No.3, Construotion The oontingency Item to Item No.3, Construotion ;~337 . 86 327.14 551.38 It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the forgoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seoonded by Mayor ~avis. On roll oall all members voted aye. The Mayor deolared the motion carried. RESOLUTION FeR EXTENSION OF TIME VfHEREAS, the time for the completion of the Eighth Street Bridges, Dooket No, Wash. 1245R. was stated as 240 calendar days in the instruotion to bidders, and WHEREAS, the contraotor in filling out the proposal sheet inserted 180 days, not stating whether they were oalendar days or working days, and \YHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles has suffered no damage and the work has been finished within the 240 days as stated in the instruotion to bidders, THEREFORE, the ~ity of Port sngeles does waive all olaim for liquidated damages and requests that the oompletion date be approved as of July 28, 1936. It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by Mayor Davis. On roll oall all members voted aye. The Mayor deolared the motion oarried.
