The Commission met pursuant to adjournment at 2 p.m. and was called to order by Mayor
Davis. Roll'call showed the following offioers present: Mayor Davis, Commissioners
. Lutz and Masters, Attorney Conniff and Olerk 'Hawkins.
Under the head of Introduotion of Resolutions the following Resolutionwas introduoed:
RESOLUTION
Resolution providing for the improvement of Marine
Drive from the east margin of Valley Street to the
east end of Third Street Trestle and from K Street
to the northerly boundary of Block 147, Townsite.
RESOLVED. That the ~ity of Port Angeles pave Marine Drive from the east margin of Valley
Street to the east end of Third Street Trestle and from K Street to the northerly
boundary of Blook 147, Townsite, with a cement concrete pavement twenty-two feet in
width, Moording to the 1935 Standard specifications of the State of Washington, De-
partment of Highways, for secondary highways, adopted by the State of Washington and
approved by the Wnited States Bureau of Public Roads; and be it further resolved the
cost of said paving be paid out of the secondary highway funds received from the State
of ,jashington as p,rovided for in Chapter 111 of the Laws of 1935, and out 0 f any other
fund or funds that may be available for that purposs.
It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing resolution be approved and
adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Lutz, On roll call all members voted aye. The
Mayor deolared the motion carried.
There being no further 'business the ~ommission adjourned to meet August 10th at 10 a.m.
