be called for the purchase of an electric graphotype by the light department, bids
to be opened August 21st. Seconded by :,:ayor Epperson, All members voted Aye. "

The first estimate on the Tur.:;vater Trestle to the Port ConstI".lction Co. was sub-
mitted bJ" the Engineer for ~2,957.60, and it was moved by CorrJ1lissioner Johnson
that the estimate be allowed. Seconded by l,ayor Spperso.n. All voted Aye.

SEcmm: Tbat all persons who desire to object thereto are hereby notified to appear and present such
bbjections at a meeting of the City Commission to be held in the City Corrll;ussioners' room on the second floor
of the Fire Depar~ment Building on Lincoln Street in the City of Port Angeles on the 4th day of September,
1946, at 10 A.Ii. of said day, which tiDe and place is hereby fixed for hearing on matters relating to the
said proposed improvement and all the objections thereto, and for determinir.g the method of payment of said
improvement.
fHIRD: J'hat the City Engineer shall submit to the City ConUllission at or prior to said date all data and
~nformation required by law to be submitted.

FOUltlH: That the cost and expense of such irr.provement shall be borne and assessed against the property
liable therefor, as provided by lavl.
It was moved by l:aJ'or Epperson that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted.

1:. H. Hhodes Company, spoke before the Commission regarding p3rlcing meters, the installation, operation, and
~nticipeted revenue. Also their effect on traffic control. After lengthy discussion, it was .moved ~y
COr:Jr.lissioner Steele that the Gi ty start the oreration of nelVly installed p3rking meters August 12, 1946.
Seconded by COI!L~.issioner Johnson. All voted Aye. l.~otion carried.
