Roll call . showed the following officers present: Mayor Robinson, Commissioners Beam and lIasters, Attorney Johnston and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. '!he sale of the above described property: I was authorized by resolutions passed by the City Commission of the Gity of Port Angeles January 22, 1941, and recorded in Yol. 20 of Commissioners Proceedings, page 240. There being no objections the City GleWe was instructed to issue deeds to said property to Ada B. Burdick as requested when all the terms of the sale are completed. 200.00 200.00 48.00 v 72.00'- 12.00 10.00 5.00 50.00 15.0C 15.00 2.00 1.00 2.00 2.00 2.00 1.00 1.00 1.00 2.00 1.00 1.00 1.00 25.00 1.00 1.00 2!J.OO Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions the following resolutions were introduced: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, l'he City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following desrcibed real property, having acquired the same by Treasurer's deed dated August 11, 1945, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9595 of Remington's Revised Statutes, Ltapter 146 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit: Tax No. 677 That porticn of Suburban Lot 10 of the Original 'i'ownsi te of Port Angela s, according tothe plat thereof recorded in Volume One (1) of Plats, page twenty-seven (27) records of said county described as follows: Begir.ning at a point on the easterly line of Liberty Street 555 feet northerly from the southwester~ corner of said Suburban Lot 10, said point being the intersection of the easter~ line of Liberty Street and the southerly line of First Street as now established; thence easterly slong the southerly line of Fir st Street 50 feet; thence southerly larallel with the easterly line of Liberty Street 140 feet: thence westerly parallel with the southerly line of First Street 50 feet to the easterly line of Liberty Street; thence northerly along the easterly line of Liberty Street 140 feet to the point of beginr.1ng (Being known as Lot 9, Block 2, on the unrecorded plat of Charles A. Smith's Subdivision of the West 500 feet of Suburban Lot 1'10.10, Port Angeles Townsite). Also, Tax No. 678. That portion of Suburban Lot 10 of the Original Townsite of Port Angele s according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume One (1) of Plats, page twenty-seven (27) records of said county described es follows: Beginning at a point on the southerly line of First Street as now established 555 feet, northerly and 50 feet easterly from the southwesterly corner of said suburban Lot 10; thence easterly a~ong the southerly line of first Street 50 feet; thence southerly parallel with the easterly line of Liberty Street 140 feet; thence westerly parallel with the southerly line 0 f First Street 50 feet; , thence northerly parallel with the easterly line of Liberty 8treet 140 feet to the point of beginning~ (Being known as Lot 8, Block 2, as shown on the unrecorded plat of Cherles A. Smith's Subdivision of )' the West 500 feet of Suburban Lot 10, Port Angeles Townsite). WHEREAS, C. H. Young has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port Angeles for the sum of $415.64, and WHEREAS, the City Commission has viewed the s aid property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value and sufficient to cover the ~mount paid by the City for said property, plus all L.1.O. assessments, including interest and other charges against the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RZSOLVEO, that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said C. H. Young for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angelss be, and he is hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be J and he is hereby instructed to countersign said quitclaim deed when the purchase price and all accrued interest . thereon has been paid in full. It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and ad opted. Seconded by Commissioner !.lasters. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. .... I I I I I Proceedings of the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington ""lII 553 Aup.ust ll, 1945 19_ I I I I I RESOEUTION DESIGNATING TAXI STAND WHEREAS, The owner of the property abutting on 'the following described street area has consented to the use of a portion of the street area abutting his property as a taxi stand. The description of the Area to be used as a taxi stand being as follows: Beginning at a point on 1he north curb line of Front Street a distance of 125 feet east of the east margin of Laurel Street and running the, nee easterly along said curb I 'line a distance of 25, feet and being in front of the east 1/2 of Lot 7, Block 1, Tideland east of Laurel Street in front of the City of Port Angeles, " j NOW,: THEREFORE, be it resolved that' the hereinabove described street area be fixed as a taxi stand to be operated by, and used by C. C. Malesky. This.resolution is adopted in conformity with the authority and proy.isions of Section 15, Ordinance No. 960"of the City of Port Angeles. It was moved by l;ommissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Masters. On roll call all membe rs voted aye.
