Proceedings of the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington

The Commission met in regular session at 10 a.m. and was called to order by Mayor Davis.
Roll call showed the following officers present: Mayor Davis,Commissioners Lutz and
Masters,Attorney Conniff and Clerk Hawkins;
The Minutes of the ~Oth and 12th' were read and approved. .

Under the head of Reading and Passage of Ordinances the following Ordinance was raed
by Title and placed on its 3rd reading;
AN ORDINANCE amending Section 43 of Ordinance NO.898,being an ordinance regulating the
construction,alteration or repair of buildings,fixingbthe fire limits and building
districts,creating the office of building inspector,regulating dangerous buildings,
regulating and providing for the e~uipment of oertain buildings with fire esoapes and
other aids ~n the protection of life and property from fire,etc. and declaring an
emergenoy.
It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing Ordinance be plaoed on its
final reading and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Lutz. On roll oall all members
voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Under the head of unfinished business,-
It was moved by Mayor Davis,that that,certain resolution recorded in Vol.19 of
Commissioners Proceedings on Page 398 and that certain resolution recorded in Vol.19
of Commissioners Proceedings on Page 400,providin~ for and authorizing the sale of t~e
East one-half of the North One Hundred and Fifty 1150l feet of Lot Nine (9),and the
North Seventy-five feet of the TIest one-half of Lot Nine (9).and the North Seventy-five
feet of Lot Ten (10) ,all in Block One (1) of Tidelands West of Laurel Street in front
of The City of Port Angeles,Washington,be reconsidered and revoked.
Motion seconded by Commissioner Masters. On roll call all members voted aye.
The Mayor declared the motion carried.
The Commission instructed the City Clerk to issue a call for bids for the improve-
mentof Marine Drive from the East margin of Valley Street to the East End of the Third
Street trestle and from K Street to the Northerly boundary of Block 147 ,Townsite. Bids
to be received up to 10 a,m. Sept.3,1936.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn
for same:
