M. and was called to order b)' Mayor Ileetle. Roll call shovred the following officers present: Mayor !Jeetle, Commissioners Hearn and 1in::l, Attorney Conniff and Clerk P'Pvfs.;::i..'1s. The minute~ of the previous session were reed and approved. Under the head of Introductions of Resolutions the following resolutions were introduced: RESOLUTION I WHEREftS; The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the follovring described real property, havinG acquired the same by Treasurer's deed, dated October 31, 1940, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9393 of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, page 365, to-wit: Lots Fifteen (15) and Sixteen (16), Block Two Hundred Seventy-five (275), Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington, and I 1~rlEREAS, J. W. Alstott has offered to purchase from the City of Port Angeles the above described real property for the following prices: Lot 15, Block 275, $45.00, and Lot 16, Block 275, $135.00, making a total price offered for both lots of $180.00 to be paid as follows: $15.00 as a dcwn payment and $5.00 on or before the 1st day of October, 1941, and $5.00 on or before the 1st day of each and every month thereafter until paid in full, together with interest at the rate of 7% per annum on monthly balances to be paid with the monthly instalL-;,.ent, and WHEREAS, The City CO~T.ission has viewed the said property and is of the op~n~on that the offer is fair value ar:d at this time it is the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sale made. NOW, THEREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED, that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said J. W. Alstott for the Sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be inst~~cted to prepare a quit claim deed con- veying said properly to the purcb.aser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereh)' instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the ~ca:iar of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed when the purchase price and all accrJed in- terest thereon has been paid in full. It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and R~0~ted. Seconded by COJUllissioner Lind. On roll call all members voted aye. The }f.ayor declared the :notion carried. RESOLUTION VlllEHEP.S, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following c.esc,-i'oed real propert~', having acquired the sa:ne by Treasurer's deed, dated Septerr,b8r ?, 1941, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9393 . of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, page 365, to-wit: .1 Lot Five (5), Block One Hundred Seventy-fo~r (174), Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington, and WHERE~.S, Edwin F, Wait [,as offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port Angeles for the sum of ~225.oo, payable as follows: ~25.00 as a do.m payrrent and $10.00 or: or before the 5th day of October, 1911, and $10.00 on or before the 5th day of ea ch and eycI"J month thereafter until paid in full, tcgether with interest computed on the balance due at the rate of 7% per annum and paid with the nonthly installme nt, and WHEREP.S, The City Comission has viewed the said property and is of the op~mon that the offer is fair value and is in excess of the amount paid by the City for said prcperty, plus all L.I.D. assessnents, including interest and other charges against the same. NOW, THEREFCRE, aE IT RESOLVED that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said Edwin F. Wait for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed con- veying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be an! he is hereqy instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to countersign said quit clain deed when the purchase price and all accrued in- terest thereon has been paid in full.
