Casilio, requested in j I writing tnat their license be transferred to the new owner. It was moved by Mayor Epperson that the transfer " be. granted. SecoDded by Commissioner Jonnson. All members voted Aye. Motion carried. i,Mayor Epperson read a letter from a property owner requesting warning signs be placed on alley between '1',Eleventh and Twelfth Streets on Lincoln Street, for protection 01' c!1ildren. The Police Department was inetructed to notifY property owners to trim trees and shrubs back to property line, and eliminate hazard. The Mayor commented on Derby Week activities, and thanked all department heads for their labor and co-operation. The Commission discussed the Hobby Club which is in need 01' financial support. Dr. McNutt spoke regarding Hobby Clubs in Portland, their patronage and publicity.
