'71,111J~ City Clerk August 10,1933 The Commission met in Special session at 10 a.m. and was called to order by Mayor Davis. Roll call showed the following officers present. Mayor Davis ,Commissioners Beam 'and Filion,Attorney Plummer,and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Ceaser Union Drug Company Union Drug Company Dick Traul Harry Sohultz Beer and wine lioense Grenshaw & .tl.Loxom To 30.00 75.00 5.50 27.90 10.00 15.00 10.00 5.00 15.00 1.00 Garage Lot Blook Townsite Addition to Building N.t Lots 19 & 20 Elock 247,Townsite Hotel (22)rooms Hotel 31 rooms 2 card'tables Resturant - Archie's Place Soft drink Fountain Lunch Resturant Wee Wee Cafe 1 Barber chair for year endin'" June 30 1934 wholesale 1n not less than case lots to licensed dealers 100.00 Under the head of liew Bus,iness the following resolution was introduced, - I , \Vhereas, Clallam County has adopted a general plan for Work Relief projeots for the I year ending June 30th.1934,which includes extension and construction on Secondary I Highways and construction of Eighth street Bridges within the City of Port Angeles,and Yfuereas, the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles has examined the list of ~M propp sed work projects which has been approved and adopted by the Commissioners of I Clallam County and believe the same to be in all respects well considered projects directly related to the general benefit of the people of the County,and ~hereas, to proceed with and complete the said projects it will be necessary to secure state and Federal aid to supplement the local funds which are available, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,That the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles ,in regular session assembled,does hereby fully endorse and approve the plan of Work Relief projects adopted by the County Commissioners of Clallam County,and does hereby I recommend the same for endorsement and approval of the County Welfare Board, T~e Director of Highways ,The Federal ~orks Director and any other agencies as may be reQuired to I consider the said Work Relief Projeots. BE IT FtJRTHER RESOLVED,That the City Commission does most respeotfully apply for the proper and necessary allotment of State and Federal aid to be awarded to Clallam county! and the City of Port Angeles ,for use in order that work upon the said projects so I' endorsed and approved may proceed, It was moved by Commissioner Filion that the fogoing resolution be adopted.Seconded I by Mayor Davis. On roll call all members voted aye.
