Proceedings of the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington

liThe Commission met in regular session at 10:00 A.M., and was called to order by Mayor Epperson. Roll call
of ,officers showed the following present: Mayor Epperson, Commissioners Steele and Johnson, and Clerk Law.

I~esell Bay ton and other property owners spoke before the Commission regarding construction of a house on
East Twelfth Street which they considered too close to property line. It was the opinion of the, CoJmllission
that building conformed 1lith Ordinance req)lirements, and Committee was referred to City Attorney.
An offer from Wm. Early to sell cemetery lots two to ten, inclusiw to the City for $22.50 was accepted.
Cleims for damages to Hugo and Sylvia Hendrickson were preswted to the Commission and ordered referred to
ithe City Attorney.
'The report of Police Judge Taylor for the month of August showing 137 court cases tried and fines of
,$l,992.00 collected was approved and ordered filed.
['Light Supt. Lean submitted a report showing the f1nancial condition of Clallam COWlty P.U.D. No.1 which
was accepted and ordered filed.

the Regional Meeting of the Association of Washington Cities to be held there September 26th. Reservations
,will be pleced for all desiring to attend.
'Another committee appeared before the Commission regarding a petition filed requesting construction of
culvert, sewer, and fill in alley between First and Second Streets, east of Lincoln Street. Clmm;tSteele
