The Commission met in regular session at 10 A.If.. and was called to order u.r Mayor Robinson. Mack, Build Garage, Lot 13, Block 108, 'ownsite Lucien Lamoureux, Put on roof, Lot 10, Block 424, Townsite Dickie's Tavern, 2 Amusement Machi,nes " " Soft Drinks t ,~~ (r~"n1~- Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions the following resolution was introduced: RESOLUTION 200.00 100.00 200.0: 75.00 75.00 200.00 48.00 V 5.00 12.00 lVHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired the same u.r Treasurer's deed dated September 13, 1943, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9393 of Remington's Revised statutes, Ch2pter 143 of the L.ws of 1929, p2ge 365, to-wit: Lot Fifte~n (15), Blook Three Hundred (300) of the '1'o"nsite of Port Angeles, Cla112m "ounty, Waffi ington, and WHEREAS, Roscoe L Post has offered to purchase the above desoribed real property from the City of Pert Aneeles for the su:n of ;;:150.00, p.yable as follows: $15.00 as a down payment ~nd $10.00 on or before the 8th day of October, 1943, and $10.00 on or before the 8th day of each and every month thereafter until paid in full. hterest to be com~uted at the rate of 7% per anIlum on tre balance due ard p aid with the monthly inst2;Llrr,ent, and WHEREAS, The :::ity Com:nis3ion has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value 2nd at this ti~e it is to the best interest of the City that it shOuld be accepted and the sale made. NOW, TH~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said Rosooe 1. Post for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the sa~e; that the City Attorney be instructed tc prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and tha t the City Clerk of the City of <'ort Angeles be a.~d he is hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed when the purchase price and all accrued interest th~r~on h.g~ been ppid in full.
