liThe Commission met in regular session at 10 A. l.'., and was called to order by !.Iayor Epperson. Roll call
'showed the following officers present: Mayor Epperson, COIrJnissioners Johnson and Steele, Attorney Wilson,
and Clerk Law. '
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.

Roy Pike, Supt. of Sanitation, reported results of investigation for new gargage dump site, and property to [;
be acquired ,would cost approximately $8000.00. The Comm:ission and Engineer decided to look over new
location, and report was filed for future reference.
I The Second estimate on the Tunnvater trestle to the Port Construction Co. was submitted by the Engineer for
,$4351.12, and Commissioner Jobnson moved that the estitrBte be allowed. Seconded by Mayor Epperson. All '
II members voted Aye. t,~otion carried.
I A petition signed by property ovmers in South Race Street vicinity requested the Cor.unission to extend the
sewer line to City limits on South Race Street from the alley between 9th and 10th Streets. The petition
,'i was filed wi. th the Engineering Department.
1 Andrew Severyns appeared before the Commission on behalf of Ade'3 Taxe Co. requesting stand on west Front
Street. After argument for and against by My. Severyns and the Commission, the reQuest was not granted.
!Ix. Severyns also requested the Connni3sion to Quote price on a lot on North Laurel Street across alley from
Olympic Motor Freight, which the Conu.ission agreed to do.

Light Supt. Lean presented a petition signed by residents requesting that street light be installed L~
I between Second ao.d Third sts. and Oak and Cherry Sts., which was granted and also nRlch approved by the
Police Chie f.
'I Mr. Dougherty spoke be fore the Commission regarding a petition requesting changes in the AnRlseme nt machine
'Ordinance. The reQuest was rejected, and Ordinance will not be changed without further study.

The Engineer presented estirroate for colvert, seYler, and fill in alley between First and Second Sts., and I
I, Lincoln and Chase Sta. The approximate cost of fill-and sevrer would be $7,200.00. Fbr culverjl, $ 15,000.00.
