P-NU4 atD> ORDINANCE NO. 1460 AN ORDllIlANCE of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, providing for the submission to the qualified electors of the city at a special election to be held therein on November 8, 1960, of a proposition of whether or not the city should issue its unlimited tax levy general obli<;tation bonds in the principal sum of $300,000 in order to provide funds to construct a swimming pool within the city, with all nec. essary facilities, and declaring an emergency. It was moved by Councilman Richardson that the foregoing Ordinance be adopted. Seconded by Councilman CaldWell and unanimously carried. The Council hereby acknOWledged receipt of notice of SpeCial Election and form of Spedal Election Ballot. There being no other business, the meeting was adJourned. Other Officers present were: Councilmen Smith, Richardson, Randall, Caldwell and Haguewood; Manager Slankard, i Attorney Moffett and Clerk Law. Petitions showing 411 signatures requesting annexation of certain Rural Areas to the City were submitted for , Council COnsideration. Also one petition with 15 signatures opposing annexation of a specified area. It was moved by Councilman Richardson that the Council acknowledge receipt of the Petitions. Seconded by Council'~ man Haguewood and carried. The folloWihg Resolution approving the Annexation pEitition was intrOduced and read: RESOLUTION NO. 9-60 A RESOLUTlON of the City Council approving approving a certain annexation petition. It was moved by Councilman Caldwell that the foregoing Resolution be approved and passed.
