The City Council met at 7:30 P.l~. and was called to arder by Ma,yor NeeI'. Roll call revealed the follOl'ling
present: Councillnen Smith, Sandison, Matthieu, Nolie, };cFadden and Maxfield, Acting Hamger Dodge, Atiorney
Severyns and Clerk Law.
It was moved by Councilman Eatthieu that minutes of Septerrber 6 ani special IEeeting of September 1.3 be
approved. Seconded by Councilman Sandison a:ld carried.
Unier the head of unfinished business, appraisal of Lot 7, Blk. 3, Cairn Subdivision of Suburban L~t 36,
h1!vi!\'l been completed, it was mOlTed by Councillnan McFadden that minimum be set at ~plOO.OO. Secomed by
Councilman Smith am Carried.
Requests for variances in construction according .to zoning ordinance having been referred to the Plan;ri!\'l
Commission, th~ foll~ling reco~nendations were returned: Don Sleeper, East k of Lot 17 and Lot 18, Blk.
387. 1'l. C. Adams, permission to move residence from lots .3 and 4 to Lot 4, Blk, 327. Fred Linten, add
three feet on front of house. It WaS moved by Councillnan lvolie that reconnnendatiol1S by.the Planning
Commission favoring variances as requested be approved. Seconded by Coun::illnan ~'cFadden and carried.

Mr. Dodge read letter from Board of School Directors expressing appreciation for street construction and

Lincoln Streets, the same to be further explored.

i Council receilved request from the Central Labor Council thst City Hall be made available far'voter's
:registration other than regular office hours. It ,was moved by Councill1'an HcFadden that the City Hall
Iremain open for re"istration only, Saturday morning, September C1, and each evening from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M.
