Proceedings of the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington

The Commission met in regular session at ~O a.m. and was called to order Mayor Davis.
Roll call showed the following officers presents. Mayor Davis,Commissioners Beam and
Fllion,Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
'Under the head of appliaations for Building Permits the following was granted,-
Mrs.L.R.MoIntosh Addition to store Building, Lot 18 Block 21 N.R.Smith's Sub.
Under the head of New Business the following resolution was introduced,-

RESOLUTION
TO SELL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY FORECLOSURE
WHEREAS,~he City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real estate,
to 'wi t:
J.ot Six (6), Block One hundred ,seventy-five (175), Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam
,Co1in1tY1 Washington. '. '
whioh property was aaqulred by the foreolosure of delinquent looal improvement assessments
under the provisions of Cha~.275, Session Laws of 1927, and, ' I
"WHlI!EAS One Everett :r..Coxt!'1as made an offer to purchase said property for the sum of
Two hundred,eightY-fiVe Dollars ($285.00) on terms of $15.00 in oash and $S.OOjPer month
until the full sum is paid,with interest on deferred payments at the rate of 7% per annum.

WHEREAS, the City Commission has viewed the property and that the offer is fair value
for the property and exceeds the amount of the delinquent improvement assessments,
THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED That the said offer be aooepted and that the oity enter into
a oontraot with the purchaser for the sale of all the interest the oity holds in said prop-
erty at said price and on said terms; that the city attorney be instructed to prepare a
oontraot of sale in acaordanoe with the terms herein expressed and that the mayor and
oity olerk be authorized to~~oute said contraot in aocordance with the provisions of
this Resolution and of Chap.3'f5, Session Laws of 1927,including Sec.4 of said chapter.
This resolution amends and superoedes as to terms the previous resolution for the same
property passed August 17,1932.
It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be adopted and that
the Mayor and City Clerk be instruoted to exeoute a oontract for the sale of said
I property with Everett L.Cox in aocordance with said resolution. Seconded by Commissioner
Filion. Onroll call all members voted Aye. The Mayor deolared the motion carried.
Under the head of New Business the following resolution was intrmduoed,-
RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real estate,to wit:

,Clallam ccunty,Washington. I
Iwhioh property was aoquired by the foreclosure of delinquent looal improvement assessments
under the provisions of Chap.27S,Session Laws o~ 1927 ,and , I
WHEREAS, One L.M.Luoky, has made an offer to purchase said property for the sum of Three
hundred,sixty-six and 697100 (366.69) Do~lars on terms of $50.00 in cash and the balanae
in installments of $50.00 every sixty days,with interest on all deferred payments at the
rate of 7~ per annum, and,
WHEREAS, the City Commission has viewed the property and that the offer is fair value
for the property and excedes the amount of the delinquent improvement assessments,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the said offer be acaepted and that the oity enter into
a oontract with the purohaser for ~he sale of all the interest the city holds in said
property at said prioe and on said terms; that the city attorney be instruoted to prepare
a oontraot of sale in aocordance with the terms herein expressed and that the mayor and
oity olerk be authorized to exeoute said oontract in accordanoe with'lthe provisions of this
Resoluti'on and of Chap.2'lS,Session Laws of t927, ino~uding Sec.4 of said Chapter.
It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be adopted and that
the Mayor and City Clerk be instruoted to exeaute a contract for the sale of said
property with L.M.Lucky in accordanoe with said resolution. Seoonded by Commissioner
Filion. On ro~l oall all members voted aye. The Mayor deolared the motion carried.
