Roll call showed the following officers present: Mayor Davis, Commissioner Masters, Acting Attorney Taylor and Clerk Hawkins. - The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of Applications for Licenses the following was granted: Myer~ Electric, Master Electrician 10.00 I Unde, the head cf Reports from City Officers the following was read: September 26, 1939 To the Honorable Mayor and City Commission, Port -,mgeles, WaShington. Gentlemen: I I herewith submit the second and final estimate (Sept.) of material furnished by Nichols and Owens, Contractors for Mineral Aggregates; Less 15% retained #5700.00 2420.25 $8120 .25 1218.04 #6902.21 4845.00 12057.21 6000 cu. yds. Mineral Aggregate for Light Bituminous Treatment @ .95 per c\1. yd. 1383 .. " . " .. Non-5kid Seal Treatment @ $1.75 per cu. yd. Less previous estimate Amount due Contractor Yours very truly, Previous Estimate July $4845.00 H. E. DODGE, City Engineer It was moved by ComJtdssioner Masters that the foregoing Engineer's Estimate of material furnished by Nichols and Owens, Contractors, for mineral aggregate be accepted and that the City Clerk be instructed to issue a warrant on the City Street Fund to. the said Nichols and Owens in the sum of $2057.21, the amo\!Ilt due said contractors as shown in the foregoin estimate. Seconded by Mayor Davis. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
