Beetle. Roll call showsd the following officers present: Mayor Beetle, Commissioners Beam and Lind, Attorney Conniff and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of t he previous session were read and approved. Police Judge, W. F. Phillips, reported 96 cases tried and $'766.00 collected in fines for the month of September, 1940. Report ordered filed. Under the head of ll!pplications for Building Permits and Licenses the following were granted: HarJy Moser, Remodel Dwelling, Lot 7, Block 295, Townsite Joe Gaydeski, Remodel House, Lots 8 and 9, Block 181, Townsite Ruby Amuscmen t Company, Distributor's Amusement IIachine License 500.00 SO.OO 957.50 Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions the following resolution was introduced, RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The City of Port lIngeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired the same by Treasurer's deed, dated March 1, 1940, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9595 of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit: Lot Three (5), Block Two Hundred Ninety-nine (299) of the Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam "'ounty, Wsshington, and WHEREAS, .Lloyd Buchholz has offered to purchase the above described real property rrcm the City of Port Angeles for the sum of $125.00, payable as follows, $15.00 as down payment and $10.00 on or before the 6th day of November, 1940, and $10.00 on or before the 6th day of each and every month thereafter until paid in full. Interest to be computed at the rate of 7% per annum on the balance due and paid with the monthly installment, and WHEREAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value and is in excess of the amount paid by the City for said property, plus all L.I.D. assessments, including interest and other charges against the salJf NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the said offer be accepted and that the City cf Port Angeles sell the said property at private sille to the said Lloyd Buchholz for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens "against the same; that the City Attomey b~ instructed to prepare a quit claim deed 1 conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City l,;lerk of the CitY"of Port Angeles be and he is, hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed; and that the Mayor of the ity &f Port. Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to counter sign said quit claim deed when the purchase price and all accrued interest I thereon has been paid in full. It was moved by Coinmissioner Beam that the foregoing reso~ution be approved end adopted. Seconded ~ Comnissioner Lind. On roll call all members voted aye. lhe Mayor declared the motion carried.
