The Commission lllet at 10 A.M. and was called to order by Mayor Beetle. Roll call showed the following
officers present: Mayor Beetle, CoDllllissioner Lind and Clerk Hawkins.
Pursuant to Law and published notice the CoDlllIission took the matter of hearing the &l.dget for the year
1942.
Following is the assessed valuation of the City of Port Angeles as submitted by the County Assessor:

In compliance with the statutes governing, r herewith submit the assessed valuation of all Real
and Personal property subject to taxation within the corporate limits of the City of Port Angeles, Wash-
ington, for the year 1941, as equalized by the Board of Equalization. of Clallam ~ounty and the state Board
of Equalization of the State of Washington, as follows, to-wit:
Total assessed valuation of all Real and Personal property, $ 5,435,933

After going over and carefully considering each item of the budget, it was moved by Commissioner Lind
that the budget for the year 1942 be approved and adopted as follows; and that the City /attorney be instruct-
ed to prepare ordinances approving and adopting the budget and confirming the estimates of expenditures
and fixing the tax lBvy:

The motion was seconded by Mayor Beetle. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the
