Proceedings of the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington

i:'The Commission met in regular session at 10 A.M., and was called to order by Mayor Robinson. Roll Call
:;showed the following Officers present:: Mayor Robinson, Commissioner Masters, and Clerk Hawkins.
.,The minutes of the previous session were read ilnd approved.
,Under the head of reading and passage of Ordinances, the following Ordinances were read in full and passed
their third reading, approved, and finally adopted:

AN ORDINANCE adopting and approving the City Budget of and for the City of Port Angeles for the fiscal year ":
.'1946, and, declaring an emergency.

AN ORDINANCE comfirming the estiwates of expenditures for the City of Port Angeles for the year 1946, and
fixing tax levies for said year 1946 as heretofore made and levied by the City Conmission, meeting and sitt-
)ng for that purpose on the 1st day of October, 1945, and declaring an emergeno:y. . ,

"AN ORDINANCE relating to, and providing for a license or occupation tax upon certain businessep,
pursuits and privileges; defining offenses, providing penalties and declering an emergency.
It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the four foregoing Ordinances be approved amd finally adopted.
Seconded by Mayor Robinson. On roll call all members voted Aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Under the head of unfinished business; The hearing on the petition in the matter of the vaCation of that
,portion of the alley runnir.g through Block 55, Townsite of P!'rt Angeles, lying between Lots 9 & 10, Block I
,55, and Lot 11 of said Block 55. Said alley being approrimately 20 feet in width, came before the Commissi?n
,for consideration. Following is copies of notice of hearing and Affidavit of posting in the matter.

of the 'City Building at 140 West Front Street, Port Angeles; one in a conspictious place on each of the Streets
'and Alleys in the City of Port Angeles, Washington which is sought to be vacated in the petition in the :i
'above entitled matter.

.The City Clerk reported that no objections had been made or filed. After due consideration, it was moved by';
,Commissioner Masters that that portion of the alley in Blmck 35 of the Townsite of Port Angeles, lying between
'Lots 9 & 10, Block 55, and Lot 11 of said Block 55, be vacated and the Cit;l' Attorney be instructed to bring in
an Ordinance vacating the same. Motion 5econded by Mayor Robinson. [(Ohlroll- call, all members voted Aye. I
The Mayor declared the motion carried. )

There being no further business, the Commission then adjourned.
