Proceedings of the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington
October 19,1932

The Commission met in regular session at 10 a.m. and was called to order by Mayor
Davis. Roll oall showed the following officers present. Mayor Davis,Commissioners Beam
and Filion,Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of October 3rd. and Ootober 5th. were read and approved.
Under the head of applioations for permits and licenses the following were granted,-
WmJ.Ware Addition to residense Lot 6 Blook 10 P.S.C.C. SUbd.
Harry Silverleaf,Wood shed and garage Lot 14 Blook 147 Townsite
Albert Strout 3 room dwelling Lot 9 Blook 282 Townsite
Habit Cleaners Cleaning & pressing
Spark's Grooery Soft Drink
Grove & Grove Res turan t

~ petition by resturant owners of the City asking for a reduotion of the lioense fee
for resturants was read and ordered filed.
Under the head of reading and passage of ordinanoes the following ordinance was read
by title and placed on its Third reading,-
AN ORDINANCE adopting and approving the city budget of and for the City of Port Angeles,
~Dr the:fiBo~l'yeari1933;aud deolaring an emergency.
It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the Ordinanoe be plaoed on its final reading
and adopted. Seaonded by Commissioner Filion. On rolloall all members voted aye.
The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Under the head of reading and passage of ordinanoes the following ordinance~:was read
by title and plaoed on its Third reading,-
AN ORDINANCE aonfirming the estimate of expenditures for the City of Port Angeles for
the year 1933, and fixing tax levies for said year 1933 as heretofore made and levied
by the City Commission meeting and sitting for that purpose on the 3rd. day of Ootober,
193Z,and deolaring an emergenay.
It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the Ordinance be placed on ite final reading
and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Filion. On rll Gall all members voted aye.
The Mayor deolared the motion aarried.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn
for same,-
