hearing ,on Enlarged Improvement District, pursuant to publications and in accordance with Statutes govern-

The Officers present were' :it1ayor Neer, Councilmen Brown, Powell, Wolfe and McFadden, Attorney Severyna,
and Clerk law. '
Mayor Neer declared the hearing officially open and explained purpose of the meeting as reqilired by State
Statutes, also phases of the con~empJa ted impI>ovement.
Dr. R. S. Dubigk questioned legality of the bearing md whether or not other than protests could be heard.
Attorney Severyns informed that the meeting is a public hearing and individuals may speak for or against.
Mayor Neer intorduced members of the Council present, also Fred Strange, CMirman' of the Planning Commission,
Edward Hughes, Financial Consultant, and the Engineering Department. .
: By request of the Mayor, Mr. Strange cited iJ1lprovements of former ysars, then described in detai 1 and from
j'map, the contemplated imprOvements and advantages of the same. Also method of financing.
