The City Council met in regular session at 7:30 P.M. and was called to order by Mayor Maxfield. Other I
Officers present were Councilmen Smith, Richardson, Thorne, Caldwell and Haguewood, and Clerk Law.
It was moved by Councilman Richardson that the minutes of the October 6th and special meeting of October 17th
Ii be approved and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Thorne and carried.

lIt was moved by Councilman Richardson that minutes of the Planning Commission be accepted and placed on
file with no action required. Seconded by Councilman Thorne and carried.

I Departmental reports were submitted for Council approval as follow s: Budget reports of Expenditures, Pollee
, Department, Pollce Judge. Fire Department, \'I-'ater Billing, Work and Operating, Light Billing, Work and
Operating. It was moved by Councilman Caldwell that reports be acc!!pted and filed. Seconded by Council-
man Smith and carried.
It was moved by Councilman Caldwell that claims against the City be approved and paid in amounts of:
General Funds, $5,919.45. Water Fund, $2,411.60. Pipeline Fund, $1,019.26. Light Fund, $31,382.16.
i Motion seconded by Councilman Thorne and carried.
The Mayor announced a meeting scheduled by the State Department dl'f Health to be hel d in Seattle October 28th,
purpose of the m€$tlng being Workshop on Alcoholism and Community Action.
There being no further business, the meeting was adJourned.
