Proceedings of tbe City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington

\ The Commission met in regular session at 10 A .11. and was called to order by Mayor Beetle. Roll call
, showed the following officers present: Mayor Beetle, Commissioners Beam and Lind, Attorney Conniff and
i Clerk Hawkins.
I The minutes of t he. previous session were read and approved.
'I Under the head of Applications for Building Permits and Licenses the following were granted:

Frank Schmidt, Build Garage, Lot 2, Block 550, Townsite
Rose Rooms, (Norma Miller), 1 Music Machine

Under the head of Introduction of R~solutions the following resolution was introduced:

WHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired
the sama by Treasurer's deed, dated October 22, 1941, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9595
of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit:
Lots Nineteen (19) and Twenty (20), Block Three Hundred One (501), Townsite of
Port Angeles, Washington, and
WHEREAS, A. Jay Clark has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port
Angeles for the aum of $525.00, payable as follows: $50.00 as a down payment and $10.00 on or before the
21st day of November, 1941, and $10.00 on Dr before ths 2J.st day of each and every month thereafter until
paid in full. Interest at the rate of 7% per annum to be computed on the balance due and paid with the
monthly installment, and
WHEREAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair
value and is in excess of the amount paid by the City for said property, pluss all L.I.D. assessments,
'including interest and other charges against the same,
NOW, mEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
said property at private ssle to the said A. Jay Clark for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to. any
other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed
conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is 'I
hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and
he is hereby instructed to countersign said ,<uit claim deed when the purchaae price and all accrued interest
thereon has been paid in full.
CURRENT EXPENSE FUND
It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Commissioner Lind. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
