The Commission met in regular session at 10 a.m. and was called to order by
Aoting Mayor Lutz. Roll call showed the following office~ present: Commissioners
Lutz and Masters, Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins.
. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
. Under the head of Applioations for Building Permits and Licenses the following
were gran ted:
Dr. R, ~. Hamilton, build house, Lot 17, Blk. 377, Townsite
Elk Barber Shop. 3 Chairs
H. D. Iler, 1 Barber ~hair
C. A. Oviatt, 1 Barber ~hair
Dorothy vi. Chamberlain. 1 Beauty Parlor Chair

Under the head of reading and passage of ordinances, the fOllowing ordinance was
rea~ by title and plaoed on its third reading:
- AN ORDINANCE Amending Seotion 7 of Ordinanoe No. 904 of the City of Port Angeles,
whic.h is an ordinance relating to "Barber Shops" and "Beauty CU,lture Establishments".
. It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing ordinance be placed on its
final reading and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Lutz. On roll call all members
voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Under the head of New Bus iness the foll owing Resoluti on was introduoEld:

RESOLUTION
. The City of Port Angeles having aC'l.uired title from Clallam County to the following
described property, to wit:
Lots 5 and 6, Block 1.64, Townsi te of p,ort Angeles, Clallam County. Washington,
for the purpose of protecting the claim of the city against said property for Looal
Improvement Distriot assessments, and the Vity DOW being in a position to sell the
property for the purpose of reimbursing the Local Improvement Distriot Guarantee Fund
for the money expended in paying the general taxes and for Local Improvement Distriot
assessments,
. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the City Treasurer be and she is hereby authorized
and lnstruot~d to publisha notice calling for sealed bids upon the property, each
bidder to state his terms and manner of payment; that the "1ty l!reasurer shall submit
all bids to the City Commission for consideration; and that the right shall be reserved
to reject any and all bids.
It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing resokution be approved and
adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Lutz. On roll call all members voted aye. The
Mayor declared the motion carried.
