The Co:nmission met in regular session at 10 A.M., and was called to order by Mayor Robinson. Roll call
showed the following Officers present:: Mayor Robinson, Commissioners Beam and Masters, Attorney Johnston,
,and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.

I' Under the head of now business: It appearing that on the 4th day of September, 1942, Current Expense Fund
Warrant No. 31227, in the sum of $6.00 was issued to Gertrude Church for services rendered on the election
.j board; that the said warrant is lost and after due diligence call1ot be found. And now the said Gartrude
. Church.and Max Church, her husband have filed an affidavit setting up the facts concerning the said lost
I Warrant No. 31227, and request that a duplicate warrant be issued to her ar,d guarantee that if said warrant
No. 31227 is ever hereafter discovered it wLll be returned to the City Clerk.
i'Therefore, it was moved by Mayor Robinson that the duplicate warrant as described and requested above, be

Under the head of new business: The matter of complaint of R. O. Ide, Chief of Police, against Jack lIiller,
operating the Miller's Recreation; The said Jack ~iller having been found guilty and fined in a number of
I cases for employing boys of the ages 12 to 16,. in both the Superior Court and the Police Court. The Chief Of.
' Police. therefore recommends that his licenses for the operations of Miller's Recreation 'be revoked. I

I The matter of the contract, City of Port Angeles to furnish certain equipment and services to Clallam County
Fire District No.2, come before the Cor.mission for approval and execution. After due consideration it was I
, moved by Commissioner, Masters that the said contract be approved and that the Mayor am City Clerk be
I instructed to execute said contract on behalf of the City. Seconded by Commissioner Beam. On roll call,
: all members voted Aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Under the head of introduction of resolutions, the following were introduced:
RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired th~
'! same by Treasurer's deed dated June 5, 1945, umer and by virtue of the authority of Section 9393 of !
Hemington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, page 365, to-wit: :
Lot Four (4), Block One Hundred Seven (107), E. C. Baker's Subdivision of
Suoorban Lot Nineteen (19), Port Angeles, Washington, and
"WHEREAS, Henry Danz has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Pont Angeles II
for the sum of $150.00, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has vie>led the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value
and a t this time it is the best interest of the City that it should be accepted am the sale made. I
NOW, THEREFORE, TIE IT RESQJ,VED, that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the ~
said property at private sale to the said Henry Danz, for the sum hereinabove set forth, sobject to any other
valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said
property to the purchasers, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to
execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed
i to countersign said quit claim deed when the purchase price and all accI"J.ed interest thereon has been paid

RESOLtlTION
;WHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles is the owner of the follawing des cribed property, having acquired the same I
Iby Treasurer's deed dated October 20, 1945, under and b-j virtue of the authority of Section 9393 of Remington's
IHevised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, page 365, to-wit: I
Lots One (1), Two (2), and Three (3), in Block Two Hundred Forty-six (246), Townsite
I of Port Angeles, Washington, and i
IWHEREAS, Hell stark and Fannie E. Stark, husband and wife, have offered to purchase the above described real,
iproperty from the City of Port Angeles for the sum of $225.00, payable as follows: $25.00 as a down payment'
land $10.00 on or before the 10th day of November, 1945, and $10.00 on or before the 10th day of each and I
every month thereafter until paid in full; interest to be computed at the rate of 7% per annum on the balance
Idue and paid with the monthly installments, and .
IWHEREAS, the City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that too offer is fair value.:
and is in excess of the amount paid by the said City for said property, plus all L.LD. assessments, includilig

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said offer be accepted and that Ue City of Port Angeles sell the I
said property at private sale to the said Holl stark and Fannie E. Stark, for the sum hereinabove set forth, I
