I The Commission met in regular session at 10:00 A.M., and was called to order by Mayor Feeley. The officers
present were: Mayor Feeley, Commissioners llobinson and Taylor, Attorney Trumbull, and Clerk Law.

Under the head of unfinished business, the application of Hilda Johnson for a license to operate a pDp-corn I
wagon was discussed by the Commission and Pelice Chief. It was the opinion Df the CommissiDn and Chief
that parldng space should nDt be sacrificed for a private business, thereby setting precedent for future
requests for the same. It was mDved by CDmmissiDner Taylor that the application be rejected. Seconded by
~Iayor Feeley. All voted Aye. Motion carried.
Under the head of new business, Capt. Eastman appeared regarding installa.tion of trunk and lateral sewers
on South Pine Hill as recently requested. Conunissioner Taylor informed that the Engineer's Department is
looking for ways and means in include both trurJc'l. and laterals, and information should be available by the
next se ssion .
Urs. Gallacci, >lr. Landru, and others appeared in behalf of property owners requesting regrade and sidewalk I
construction on East 12th Street from Lincoln to Chase Streets. Commissioner Taylor advised that the School
District is willing to pay their portion of cost, and that the Engineer's Department is computing estimate ,I
of cost for regrade and ballast. Tbe Conunission instructed that records at the City office be inspected
regarding Improvement District ND. 148, and a petition filed for the said regrade and sidewalk improvement. I
,I It was also emphasized that regrade will be necessary before sidewalks can be considered.
Fire Chief Wolverton inforIll3d that the Chamber of ltommerce requests a Christmas tree be erected at First
& Laurel Streets. It vras regularly moved and seconded that permission be granted to place the tree at
First am Laurel Streets next to the bluff. Motion unanimously carried.

, It was moved by Commissioner Robinson that the foregoing Ordinances be passed the third and final reading
! and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Taylor. All members voted Aye. Botion car.ried.
